My uncle’s backyard in Bellingham, Washington offers an amazingly beautiful view to the Pacific Ocean. This time of year though, it’s harvest time in the Pacific Northwest – which means that he can count on these gleaners enjoying his apple tree, while adding seasonal flavor to the view from his window.
