It seems you don’t even have to go into the woods today to be in for a surprise.  They’ll find you – even interrupt a guy soaking in the privacy of a backyard hot tub according to this report out of Whistler, B.C.
These are challenging times for bears.  Some foraging for food in riskier human-inhabited territory; some foraging for profits in markets that reportedly used to be more hospitable.  However, here’s one bit of advice if you do find yourself cornered in your hot tub and are looking to distract Smokey’s attention from your own noggin: call ‘Honey’ for help!
