We’re told the world is being defoliated of forests almost as quickly as mo’s were clipped and shaved at the end of Movember.  And while the world’s deforestation rate has accelerated overall, who knew the reverse is true in Asia due to extensive planting in China?  Speaking of reloading, despite the railroads’ best efforts at ramping up efficiencies, there seem to be more cars going bad-ordered, at the same time as our best efforts to keep ahead of late truck shipments face increased problems.  But hey, it’s no time to be curmudgeonly.. afterall, we should be basking in the afterglow of our B.C. Lions having won Canadian football’s Grey Cup… and warming up our Christmas spirit!
