I joined some of the thousands of spectators lining the rocky shores of east False Creek yesterday to catch some boat racing action – snapped a couple photos below.

“About 100,000 people took in the aquatic action over the two-day event, cheering on the 5,000 paddlers representing 180 teams in various age and gender classifications.  There were 50 visiting teams from as far east as Montreal and as far south as Arizona this year, said event spokeswoman Anita Webster.” Source
