In the aftermath of the big fire May 3rd in Richmond (originally posted here), fire safety, where multi-storey wood-frame construction is concerned, has been called into question.  In response, The Canadian Wood Council has released a statement here… and President and CEO Peter Simpson, of the Greater Vancouver Home Builders’ Association, offers his take here.
