We awoke to a sunny but chilly day here in Vancouver yesterday. After bundling ourselves up we headed out with
almost 50,000 other runners to the start line downtown (which we could barely see from our location in the last starting group made up of mostly baby strollers). The route took us through Stanley Park, along English Bay, over the Burrard Street Bridge, and back downtown over the Cambie Street Bridge to the finish line outside BC Place Stadium. My 14 month-old – and her Dakeryn teammates – finished the 10 kilometer course, though perhaps not quite as quickly as all our plates of pasta disappeared at
Marcello’s after. Great day!
