Did you know?

On this date in – March 24, 1883 – it is recorded that the first telephone call took place between New York and Chicago.  We have no way of confirming whether or not the call was initiated by a wholesale lumber trader offering attractive service and quality products.  We’re pretty much left with the assumption that it was a cold call.
